Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  So God creates two worlds simultaneously — to work together. One world is visible, one is invisible. One is material, one is spiritual. One is passing away, one is still coming. One you hold with your hand, the other with your heart. One is shakable, one is unshakable. From the beginning, God creates these two worlds to work together.  Man experiences this divine tension of two worlds everyday as God formed us from the dust of the earth, but then breathes the breath of Heaven inside us. This sets divine precedence that we see throughout scripture: God desires to take what is in heaven and put it into the earth!  Perhaps the reason we don’t see more of the power, presence, and Person of God’s Kingdom these days is because so many have been taught God’s main goal is to get what is in the earth into heaven rather than getting what is in the Heavens into the earth.
